Me & My Camera(s)

my camera
about 2 weeks ago, i brought my beloved son to a class in 1u. so seeing him so happy, obviously i took out my camera to snap those beautiful moments. and dunno how it slipped off my hand and fell onto the carpeted floor (just 8" from the floor). anyway, since then, the screen went blank and there was nothing i could do. i was so "sum thong" as it's less than 6 months old.

i sent it to the shop and they told me it would take up to 1 month. oh my god, i told them to speed it up as i cannot live without my camera... that's for real. thank god, my bro has one and i took possession of it 24/7.

i brought his camera with me everyday like my own, until yesterday when he & my dad left for china. at around 4pm, he sms-ed me saying his camera was stolen. oh my god!!! his was newer than mine. so broken hearted. nothing can be done.

another thing that bothers me is that - where else can i find a camera? i called the shop, they say the nikon people just collected mine yesterday and they wont be able to let me know the status until next monday.

my canon camera
about 4 months ago, my dad lost my canon camera battery. so it has since been lying in my drawer, and i thought i need not buy another battery as both bro & i have our own camera.

this morning, i woke up thinking of my camera again. i had no choice but to drive out during lunch to find the canon battery. stupid of me to go without the camera. i paid RM190 for the L3 battery. came back a happy person. tried putting it in - ARGHHH.. wrong size. damn it, i drove out all the way again and showed them my camera. they said it should be L1 (which they do not have stock).

so i'm back in my office now, typing this and waiting for the guys to call me to collect the L1 battery - that's suppose to arrive either this afternoon or tomorrow morning. just pray they have.

a peep into a day's work

one fine day, a boss secretary was on leave. all these while, all he has to do is intercom his secretary, give his instructions and she will call the person for him, then pass the call to him. today, he has to make his own call since there is no one around to do that for him. he kept dialing, "2389" then, he must've heard a tone. he tried many times until a staff told him, "you have to dial "9" first,".

then, the same boss wanted to drink water and asked his staff, "did the tea lady just changed my water?". she shook her head and said, "i don't know". "but you were sitting here all these while. how can you not know?," replied the boss. "i was doing my work so i didn't notice. but if you want your water to be changed just in case, i can do that," said the staff. "but you wouldn't know how to do it," the boss said. "yes, i do. how do you want your water done?" asked the staff. "warm, " replied the boss.

as you may have noticed, this tagline has been attached to MSN for quite a few days now. Last month i received "an order" from AMEX asking for 7-10 personnel to be placed within a 1 week timeframe. Pheeeeewwww....completed within the days given. This month we managed to crack in to HSBC, Cyberjaya and on average they are looking for 15 Call Center Execs to start every week. On top of that, 3 Will Writers, 3 Customer Relations Manager and 2 Assistant Vice President.

Yesterday I received a phone call from Maybank, they want "40" Customer Service to start by Nov and the list goes on and on...i am trashed on a daily basis, i am trying hard to juggle my time...sighhh...sometimes us women of the 21st Century just have too little time to pamper ourselves, can't remember when was the last time I had a pair of hands rubbed on my back.

Guys, please organise an outing so that we can all eat, chat and SMOKE!!! tata
