i just remembered, day before yesterday, i slept as usual. i had a dream. i dreamt of vp. vp being pregnant. hehehe, it must be rainne!!!

prevention is better than cure

another sad incident, another uncle lost. i was so shocked. i know dad felt the same, i can feel he is really sad. i dunno how to explain the feeling, but it just felt bad, that's all.

that was why i always nag, remind, insist that everyone go for at least an annual check up. i hate to see people leave. as i have said before, i am not good at this at all. i hate it. sometimes i just wish there is something that would make us live forever, but then again, it would make life meaningless.

so for everyone who is reading this, please please go for check up. i always believe prevention is better than cure.

for this new year, i wish everyone i know, just whoever, the best of health and long live!!!

some additional stuffs to vp's blog.

yesterday after we had our fairly last minute shopping, we headed back to our car. i saw a familiar t-shirt. the one & only barney which i like. it was renee standing there, as if she was posing for some magazine shots. vp stood next to her.

i went over and held renee's hand (not tickle her). she looked at me, surprised. hehe, i was surprised to see them here too. i never expected to see them here, if i know, i would have called. anyway, first thing, vp wished my mum happy birthday. after a short chat, vp left.

went shopping at Lot10, instead of going to Isetan, bought t-shirts from KLP's FOS. comfortable and cheap. was standing at bintang walk waiting for hubby to pick me up, renee was running about, joanne walked up to her to tickle her. wow..what a coincidence! she was with her mother and father, greeted them and asked if they had had their dinner (if not, thought want to stick-rice-eat), the birthday girl (joanne's mother) answered "yes, just had at sg.wang"

hubby arrived shortly and i turned back to shake birthday girl's hand and wish her in english "happy birthday ha aunty"

birthday girl: "thank you" thank you"...bye bye

On a seperate occasion but same day, i smsed both sandy and johnny to wish them "Happy Anniversary" to my surprise both had forgotten about it! Hmmmmmmm..........

Yuko Nagao

Yes Yuko has been the most vain person besides VP, I am glad we have actually heard from her but not her voice yet but also sad that she has to go through so much pain for the past few years. I have lost touch with her for almost 5years i think since she wrote and told me she got cancer. I have been worried since and of course dear VP didn't register till yesterday, when i have told this to her long time ago. Sighhh.... I really hope i don't lose another friend like her . In my life i have lost so many close friends from suicide, accidents, murder and now sickness. Life is always something very fragile and fated. Always try to be happy and treasure every moment possible.
I don't have a religion but i do pray to god and hope that Yuko will recover quickly and so that we can meet soon.

massage anyone?

once again i changed my mind. vp, aud & i were supposed to meet up for the 9 o'clock massage. i went earlier at 730pm with my mum. i called them up and said i wanted ida (my 3 1/2 year masseur). i called vp, telling her the change of plans. well, i expected some little nags from her, as i was the one who suggested to go at 9. *darn*. sorry!

off we went to the parlour. i dozed off after 10 minutes being so relaxed. i was then awaken by mummy's phone call. i switched it off and glanced at the hanging clock. it showed 9pm - sharp. i was expecting them but still no sign of anyone (knowing they will probably make a 'noisy' entrance).

at around 910pm, i heard the 2 mummies, obviously i recognised their voice. i called out for them, but no answer, maybe they were mad at me. then suddenly, i dunno who dropped something and both of them laughed.

all i said was "chee sin" and my room door slammed opened. hehe, who else but the 2 gila women. vp exclaimed "ida saya punya. y u steal my ida?" hahaha, poor thing. well, i thought you (vp) always prefered thai. anyway, they said hi to mummy and apologised for the invasion.

after another 20 minutes or so, mummy & i left. before we did, i flung opened their door and said "ic please," we laughed and left....

Received this from yuko (a very good friend of mine and of aud) from japan yesterday, i was overjoyed to have seen her email address included in it. Aud and i have been trying to contact her for years, it is either she has not replied or was totally out of touch, not replied our mails or not answering our calls. It was frustrating, but still we did not give up hope, we left messages and asked our japanese friend to assist in calling from japan. Still nothing.

In the postcard, she mentioned that she is hospitalised and will be fine and out in a few days time. So, i smsed aud to tell her of the good news (that we have found her and the fact that she replied with a post card). Aud was as flabbergasted as i was, she then expressed that she was worried of yuko and her condidtion.

Janie: What condition, she's just in for medical treatment la?

Aud: Ya, she is being treated for cancer!

Janie: OMG, what cancer??? shit i didnt know

Aud: Yes, i told you before

Janie: No, i thought she was being treated for poor liver/lungs due to excessive smoking and drinking. Shall we visit her in japan?

Aud: Yes, I want to go now!, i feel so sad, i want to cry...

U couldn't have imagined how down and in despair i was after that. Now, i know why she has been out of touch and have not visited us at all for 10 years. She has been in and out of the hospital every now and then for her treatment. Yuko is an extrovert, daring, generous, forgiving and honest person, i should have guessed something was not right! Back then when she was 20 years old, she always looked pale and had to apply tons of makeup, we thought she was just vain, never would have guessed, it was a disguise.

I am so bad at this...I do not know how I would react if anything were to happen to her, her colourful but short postcard is the one thing I look forward to receiving every Christmas, coz i know she will not miss out on those greetings. i put my hands together and sincerely pray for you speedy recovery. i want to see that pretty face soon...

not enuff gossip

hehe, yeah yeah, a good place to gossip huh? but still not enuff gossips...

well, vp, better edit THAT '2-minute' bit on tape. it's supposed to be a kid's birthday party, why on earth did this billy take my "S" ???? what an inconsiderate uncle. i guessed most probably he wanna take revenge on the 'whooperluchi'.

anyway, i do hope this gossip blog will go on & on & on...........

Swim & fallin

Well poor Joanne and Ray Ern missed the fun of the second session we had at Duta Ria . Janie and I had our gossip session for abit and then headed off to the pool . Lauren and Renee as usual enjoyed their pool session and of course i got my hair all wet but Janie didn't coz she didn't want to ruin her new hair do ( Japo Style ) . Renee being cheeky she wanted to get her mummy's hair wet but of course being VP she quickly got out of the pool :)
Poor Jay Lyn had her shits so sandy had to wash her bum but being Jaylyn she was messing about and slipped and fell and hit her poor gums so it was bleeding. Everyone then rushed to the toilet to see how she was , then of course the usual Sandy and Johnny both argued abit on who to blame for her incident . I find both of them really funny , and i feel that they both have changed for the better no more arguing till dun talk to each other . Now they shout abit then after that its back to normal.

at the burger place

Joanne was the first to arrive at BK, then followed by egghead, june, sandy, nicole and audrey. I have photos of all the guests except for joannes. trust me, i feel very guilty and bad, but luckily i took ample pictures of rayern for the postings.

overall, the party went well and joyful. all the kids present were entertaining themselves w/o much supervision.

mothers took turns to carry jayden the hulk. he couldnt button his pants.

aud took out tomatoes, vegetables and pickles from her whopper.

i ordered for one that has nothing but just onions. joanne said "lei tei ho ma fan"

everyone was half way gulping down the burger and then joanne realised she has not ordered??????

billy was holding the view-cam, at one part he took 2minutes of video on joannes backside/crack...he went took a close up and could see her dark blue undies.

all messed up

at around 8pm, all the 3 mrs yaps plus mrs wong gathered in my house. in no time, we were all seated at the mahjong table. poor mrs wong had to sit and chat with us as her beloved hubby has gone for a short & rushed business trip.

anyway, while the 2 lil miss yaps were entertaining one and other with rayern's toys, we mothers played mahjong. i think we enjoyed the talk more than the mahjong as everything went so wrong!!!

for those who doesnt know mahjong, it may sound a little confusing...
1) i didnt remembered which way to go or where to take the tiles from.
2) sandy got 18 tiles instead of the normal 14, and on top of that wanted to take another 4 to replace her 2 fa's
3) janie asked sandy "chor keih?" (which day of CNY), when she was supposed to say "keih toh fan?" (how many points?
4) sandy scolded janie "pk" for giving her a balloon which represents RM10, as we ran out of RM10 notes.

after that day, i think christine never want to learn this game! Hahaha.

tat's all i could remember, others we will have to wait for the others to put in...
